HTS were responsible for the initial LOPA’s, Lifecycle Functional Safety Engineering to 61511, hardware & hardware engineering and design for the ICSS solution following through to a complete build, install, testing and commissioning package working closely with the end user.
The LOPA assessments, Safety Requirement Specification (SRS) and cause and effect used SISSuite to validate of all safety loops and I/O to Functional Safety standard IEC 61511. Plant requirement was SIL1 and SIL2.
A New 400A MCC and ICSS was designed and built in our workshop and placed in our own Temporary onsite mobile container unit to power the plant until its destination on plant was built and ready to receive it later. This allowed Veolia to continue site services whilst the required civils was put in place.
New field instrumentation including Exe/d junction boxes were installed onsite to distribute the multicore cables to the I.S instrumentation. New 6mm2 Copper airlines and SOV’s installed in the field infrastructure for Actuated valve operation and pneumatic distribution. New Zone 2 lighting was installed on all the walkways.
The new ICSS MCC was integrated into the overall Tank Farm Monitoring (TFM) system that provides monitoring and safety for Thirty (30) tanks and associated distribution.
Electrical Testing and Inspections in-line with 18th Edition Regs BS7671 and BS EN 60079 Explosive atmospheres. Electrical installations inspection and maintenance.
