  • At the Liverpool branch a problem was identified with product build up on the overhead conveyor lines when the Plough Duct was blocked up.
  • HTS was to provide a complete turnkey solution to aide Cargills with increasing production including:
    • Engineering, Design and modifications to existing software to incorporate all associated hardware.
    • Procurement and installation of all new hardware and associated cable.
    • Procurement and Installation of all pneumatic piping.
    • Procurement and installation of any bracketry required to mount any hardware.

Objectives and Deliverables

• Risk assessments and method statements
• Schematic drawing/s in PDF format
• Site install works according to client approved drawings
• Commissioning support
• Handover documentation
• All work to be undertaken in compliance with BS EN 60204-1:2018

Process and Conclusions

  • A full system design based around a pneumatic ball vibrator, Solenoid valve and actuator 3/2, Control Valve and a Photoelectric Distance sensor

HTS Group completed the project on time, on budget and on scope. All drawings, test documents and full handover package were delivered. The end user increased his production time as the system shutdowns due to the overfill were eradicated.
