Project Summary:

iCAM Engineering company specialises in the manufacture of high quality Stainless Steel fabrications, to a wide range of industries. Supplying a diverse product line which includes: Sampling Cylinders, Sensor Housings, Probes, Sampling Systems, Gas and Fluid Handling Systems, Manifolds, Pigtails, VCR Welded Assemblies, Thermowells, Coolers, and Cyclones.

iCAM were looking to outsource the electrical control panels needed to control their ATEX skids as they did not have an in-house facility.

HTS Group were identified as a quality build and installation team – that could also provide in house DSD calculations, Loop drawings and ATEX compliant testing company.

Objectives and Deliverables

• DSD cals for the control panels loops

• Loop drawings

• Purchase of components as per documentation

• Wiring of the control panel, and panel cut outs

• Full build and FAT including I.S testing of the control panel

• Onsite SKID installation including cable tray, field cables, approved ATEX glanding, control panel install and terminations

• Full test & inspect of installed cabling

• Atex inspections on all kit

• Setup and commission of the trip amps/ temp controller and pumps

• Compliant to BS 7671, BS 61511 and BS EN 60204-1:2018

Process and Conclusions

• A fully certified build, test and install was delivered on time, on scope and within budget. This project would be the first of a further 2 similar ATEX SKID project successfully delivered to iCAM Engineering as our partnership understanding has grown.
